Changing Text Size
You can increase or decrease the text size to change the look of the pages by using one of the following buttons provided under the menu bar:

  • Larger Text – Increases the text size on all pages
  • Smaller Text – Decreases the text size on all pages
  • Reset Text – Resets the text size to default on all pages

You can also change the text size in one of the following ways:

  • Internet Explorer – View > Text Size
  • Firefox – View > Text Size
  • Opera – Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Fonts > Minimum font size (pixels)

Alternatively, scroll with the wheel of your mouse whilst holding down the control key.

Listen to our website
If you have a visual impairment or other difficulties reading this site, you may find the BrowseAloud speech-enabling software useful. Once installed and set-up it will read aloud website content as you move your mouse over it.

Visual Design
To help you view our website we have:

  • Used colours with a good contrast between background and foreground
  • Given all meaningful images and graphics an Alt-text name which describes what you would be looking at if the image was not displayed.
  • Used style sheets so you can change the size of the text using your browsers text size controls.
